Baran

This time, it is an Iranian Movie - Baran. I just came out(of youtube) watching this excellent movie. Some movies are so magnificent with all colors, lights, stunts, stealing your heart. There are also movies that is silent but yet powerful than the first kind of movies. Baran is one such of that kind and no wonder it makes you feel so good and keeps you silent. The movie is all that shows about true love - No hatred, No fights, No kisses, dances, romantic scenes (or) whatsoever you expect in a love movie. This is still a love movie but that runs in the back ground.Watching such movies helps me understand world history better - Soviet Union's attack on Afghanistan and the life of Afghans after the invasion was over. Lateef, a teenager(Iranian in the movie) is attracted towards Baran (Afghan girl). When he knows about her family condition, he starts helping her without she knowing about all this. Reviews (or) previews of such movies are wonderful. But, you know what - the movie is far far amazing. The movie ends with Baran(rain - thanks to wiki for enlightening me that Baran is the persian word for 'rain') pouring down to earth. Thanks to Majid Majidi, the director for giving everyone an oppurtunity to cherish true love and lead the way.

Baran - Not just a movie but an awesome lesson and an example of true love that still exists in this world although we do not see many. Take Care. More later with another movie / thought.

Wind Struck

Back again after a loooong while.

This time, its again with another Korean Movie - "WindStruck". Yes, it struck hard and leaves a huge impact in my mind. Before entering the Wind story, Life since the last post has been a roller coaster as it is supposed to be. Clearing a certification exam, rise in the patience level, few driving lessons, reviving good old days with *** and so on...Let's get back to the main track. The movie is pretty much simple but awesome. Couple of scenes here and there in the movie brought those emotional feelings to foreground. These stuff usually run in the background especially for guys like me. Try to watch the movie. Movie can be watched with subtitles in Youtube. Thanks to my friends(whom i do not even know) living somewhere in the world but making me happy by uploading such wonderful movies.

What else could i say. Just one thought before i sign off until sign back(I really dont know when would be that.)

Stand confused @ the title? Its the name of a korean movie - My Sassy Girl(in English)- released in 2001. Ha Haa. Avunu Kadhaa.. Don't try to understand that. Its ma favorite dialogue. Just as the Sassy girl's 'Wanna die?' ;)

One of my friend insisted that i watch this movie 'My Sassy Girl'. This is a Korean movie released way back in 2001.I regret that i could have watched this movie much before - my life could have been different - hmmm.. oh hoo. Am okay.Am cool.Am in control. Nothing personal in this post. Easy easy.Lets roll back to My Sassy Girl.Not my sassy girl. I meant the movie again ;)

Mann - I really admire the way this story has been told. Great ability.Director must be a hard core football fan.He has divided the movie in to 3 sections - First Half,Second Half and overtime(although the story scores goals and goals in viewers' heart in both the halfs)The movie is about the relationship between a poor guy and a tom-boy girl who had lost her boyfriend.(The picture on the left would depict that the guy is poor :) )The movie is a complete blend of what all a movie lover needs but stands by its standard as well thereby compromising nothing.I was trying to watch this movie yesterday late night around 01:00 AM. I could not control my sleep and at the same time i could not give the movie a pause as well. So saddd. I had to log out for the day(night in fact) as i thought i would nt enjoy the movie.I continued to watch the movie today. The best part in the movie is when our poor guy mentions to the blind date guy of hers, ten rules to follow with her and the scene that follows. Sassy Girl's expressions and the way she slaps him when he hugs her.And when he plans a birthday surprise for here that ends up with something different. The scene wherein our sassy girl speaks to the army man about love and since he is betrayed by his girl he should nt just end up his life .When she says 'Only People like us have to live longer and understand what true love is all about' - Mann. Goosebumps all around. And when she takes our hero(Let him be - Pleaseee!) to the mountain and asks him to go to the opposite mountain. She says...'Gyeon-Woo, I am sorry. I cant help it. I thought i was different. But i am just another helpless girl'...No more words to express. you guys have to watch the movie.The movie is so poetic and the content has been delivered in much more funnier way not missing the touch as well. The canon in D piano scene, her flashback - all were so poetic. I bet the director must have been inspired by some real life incident. You might relate something when you watch the movie..At least i did. Of course i do whenever i watch any movie - oh goddd! No more personal quotes Mr.Milky(Thats mee yaaaa). Alright Buddies - Watch out the below excerpt from the movie and this would be the simple sample.The movie is way way way more better than the way i have expressed my feel about it. I assure you would love this movie. Hit me with a Stone(Smaller one pleaaaseeee) if you do not. And my address would be - teeennnnnnnnnn . beeep .blurrrr.................... (Got disconnected).

A Day of Mixed Emotions + Drishtikon

It was a pretty good day. It would be unfair if i just term it 'good'. It was always an uphill task waking up early on a sunday after saturday night dhamaka. But, there was nt any last night though. :) Somehow, managed to wake up early around 08:53 AM. Early - Ai'nt it?? Heh Heh. I have booked an appointment for an IKEA visit. Hmmm. Forgot to mention the Cold Coffee @ HoneyDew. Reel Paaathi Real Paathi was on the air during the drive. on AIR??? just kidding. I had some next street software company's tool that gets me an mp3 with an youtube link.cool - ai'nt it. It was not a great episode but still it was fun. Reached IKEA with my friend.Murphy's Law played a major role today - Whatever you wish for, the stock is over. After all the brain storming thoughts - we had an option to select one out of one. We were happy that we had an option. Its an option? Yes, it is - a mandatory option if you have to get it.confusing. So were we, couple of hours before. Things got much better with a good lunch of course. I was planning to quit non-veg. With some brain storming session on this regard, i just rolled back before committing myselves to be a vegetarian.[Thank God - I did not tell my girl about this].. Heyyy - Hang on! - My Girl.. Enna daaa - Vivek maaathiri(like Vivek - an awesome comedy artist in Tamil(Indian Language) cinema], She is my girl friend. But, the guy next to her is her boyfriend. Pinna enna daaa....(Difficult to translate- something like pinna enna daa - lol).Back on track. Where was I?? Haaa. Lunch. Pasta with Chicken and couple of chicken fingers(thumb fingers) - they were sooo biggg.some french fries too.

Post Lunch, we came down to pick our items. Oh godd - we had about four trolleys full of our items. And, you know what - we saved 5c over 1500$. cool.... I would never say about that. Company Policy :). The 6 hour stay at Ikea was over and we headed towards the cinemas for M.N.Shyamalan's 'The Happening' - The movie was pretty good. I would come with a different post for its review. I enjoyed the movie. I would say almost everyone. An intelligent crowd really appreciate it. I hope so, everyone would appreciate it now..Marketing strategy.

Not a bad dinner with some chicken fried rice and watched 'The Longest Yard' on theatre - again. its a home theatre this time. Came back home. It was nt my home theatre by the way.

Then i just had a reply from one other friend regarding Drishtikon - A New initiative by a couple of young human beings somewhere in this part of the worls from the nation where i was born.

It's basically a team formed to promote education and stress it importance in the rural areas. pretty much happy to be a part of the team but i could not involve actively. I wish i would be there for atleast an event one day.It was really good when i was viewing the album. So little kids, so innocent - do they know the problems in this world. Better they do not.If there is something that would save this world from hatred - i would feel its proper education, not just aggressive education.I believe the Drishtikon team would do a great impact. Amidst people who would just criticize society all the time, i find the team to be something different. An interesting quote but quite realistic - If you are not a part of the solution, then you are a part of the problem.I would contribute my thoughts and other funds as far as i could. The smile of each and every kid in those pics - they tell it. Oh Mann! Heart warming.

okay guys- getting a bit emotional. Not badd. Not too good either. Let me get back to the Comedy gods - Vivek ji,Vadivelu ji and of course Gounder ji .

And finally, I am back to the world of blogs. With Laziness cribbing and not so good days around - I did not feel like decorating(I do call so - Never mind) my blog with another entry.Alright. Who wants to talk about the past? I dont wanna do it now. Okay - The blog title - Sounds funny? But- that looks true in most of the cases. I saw this modern proverb(Remember - Proverbs in our School article board - as 'THOUGHT FOR THE DAY' - Ushhhhhh! - No Past memories in this entry - heh).Back on track - I saw these words on someone's scribble board in Office. That made me think about ICL vs IPL. Many a players - Lance Klusener, Chris Cairns, Craig Mcmillan, Justin Kemp, Nathan Astle, Brian Lara, Inzamam were so early but i would not consider ICL as a worm. May be its a fish too. But, IPL is gold fish - ain't it. Whatsoever, Had these players been in IPL - the tournament would have been much more fascinating. Brian Lara leads Mumbai Champions in ICL. Had he been with Sachin Tendulkar for Mumbai Indians in IPL - wow! - i do not have words to express - Sachin and Lara - deadly combination. Lance Klusener plays for Kolkata Tigers in ICL. Let us rewind back to the first game of IPL. What would have been the case had Klusener opened the innings with Mccullum for Kolkata Knightriders. Mind boggling. Many a combinations.Michael Bevan in Chennai Superstars joining hands with Mr.Cricket Mike Hussey for Chennai Superkings.Alright. Lets me get back to earth.See you all fellas. Njoy Life. Stay good. Wanna Quit?

I was reading a discussion script about the pressure on World Cricketers and Kumar Sangakkara gave many vital points in the discussion. He is one man - who is so cool, composed and looks more matured than what he has to be at this very age of his.

The topic goes around People quitting the game unable to with stand the tremendous pressure mounting on them and hype given by media. Media is a powerful asset - No one can deny that, but the information we get is always multiplied by 'n'. n - determines the quality of the newspaper.

Pressure exists in almost every profession with the world becoming more competitive. Due to the building pressure, we frustrate and quit things. Perseverance plays a major role here - sustaining the environment with pressure and step forward.

Having said these, it may appear i am not frustrated at things. I am, but with the right attitude and good people around i believe - we can achieve things.

Sounds too philosophical. Hehh.
